GC House was based on an interior design project where we were given a raw construction and the task involved both interior finishes and the exterior gardens that complement the house.
Characterized by its impressive interior courtyard, this project stands out for blending interior design with classic elements, complemented by modern ideas. This approach creates a contemporary project that is also warm and welcoming.
The architecture of the house is organized around the central courtyard. For this reason, the focus was on creating an outdoor gathering space, where two intersecting platforms surrounded by stones and vegetation generate a sort of private oasis for the house.
As a complement, elements of water and fire were incorporated to highlight the natural intention of this space and provide a sensory experience through these types of elements.
